Summer Reading at the GPL

The 2010 Summer Reading Theme is “Make a Splash @ your Library” for children ages birth through 12. We are going green this year. All registration and logging of minutes will be done online! You can use your computer at home, on vacation or here at the library!
- For infant’s birth through 2; you register online, come into the library and collect your game board. When the game board is finished, register your completion online, drop the game board off in the children’s room and receive your prize.
- Children ages 3-12; read or be read to for a total of 100 minutes a week, up to a total of 600 minutes. Log your child’s time online and then stop in and collect their prize (6 in all).
Make Waves at Your Library and Water Your Mind
New 2010 Teen and Adult Summer Reading program for ages 13 & up begins June 25, 2010 and ends August 6, 2010. The program consists of raffle tickets entered in weekly drawings for various gift cards. There will be separate weekly drawings for teens and adults, and each book read will earn the participant a raffle ticket. The tickets can be entered every week or saved for one week to increase the chances of winning a particular prize.
